Hudson Federation of PSRP's Local # 6245

Welcome! The Hudson Federation of PSRP’s represents the food services personnel and part-time paraprofessional staff in the Hudson School District. We came together to form the union in 2003 so that together, we could have a stronger voice and negotiate a contract.  (Click here to download a copy of our local constitution.) Our first collective bargaining agreement—the contract—went into effect on July 1, 2004. Since then, we’ve taken many steps forward in our working conditions, pay, and benefits. But there’s still more to be done. And you can help!

If you’re not yet a member, we invite you to join us today, so that you can access all of the benefits of membership. You’ll also have a voice in your contract, and the direction of the union. To move ahead, we need YOU as an active member!

If you would like to get more involved, we have open positions for building representatives. Please contact Terry Savage, President, if you are interested in helping to improve communication with our members. This isn’t a difficult job—but it is vital to our success as a union!

Building Meetings are called by your Building Representative to address matters of concern and to hear input from members in each building.

Meetings of the Full Membership are held at least twice each year. Stay tuned from your building representative and the latest newsletter for information on your next building meeting, and the next full membership meeting.

Check back here for the latest information on what is happening with the union!
