AFT-NH is pleased to offer Building Representative 101 training. Registration for the workshop will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have never attended this training, you should plan to do so. Local officers and activists are also encouraged to attend this training.
The workshop will provide essential skills for building representatives or stewards. This training will focus on your day-to-day responsibilities and how to become a more effective local union representative. We will dedicate time to member engagement and strengthening our local unions. This training will also cover basic grievance representation.
Registration for this class should be sent to Terri Donovan at terridd@metrocast.net on or before October 25th by the Local Presidents. If a registered participant does not attend the training, the local will be charged a $20 fee. This would include cancellations after October 25th. Remember, it is first come-first serve and the class is limited to 30 attendees.
Please provide the member’s name, email and union position for each participant.
Participants should be sure to bring a copy of their local Union contract and constitution to the training.
Participants should arrive between 8am and 9am to enjoy the complimentary breakfast in the hotel lobby.
