Article 3 represents a three-year contract for including but not limited to teachers, psychologists, school nurses, and related service providers. This local has had a difficult three years negotiating with the District. A more collaborative School Board has negotiated a contract with pay raises which will lift salaries for these members out of the bottom of the 17 comparable districts. There is truly a hiring and retention crisis which is causing consistent double digit vacancies for teaching positions.
